Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men 18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See. This means that an applicant or member accepts the teaching authority of the Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals, aspires to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church, and is in good standing in the Catholic Church.

Online Membership is meant for new members only. Current members of the Knights of Columbus should not sign up as online members. Signing up online will cause you to be transferred out of your council. You cannot hold dual memberships.
Well, as with all organizations, it starts with a conversation and a little paperwork. You will need to obtain an application, (Form100) from a brother Knight or download it here

Once completed and returned to us, a formal interview with the membership committee. Your application will then be presented to the members at our next monthly business meeting and voted on. Once approved by the members, the Grand Knight and Financial Secretary will sign off on the Form 100. A copy of this this form will now be returned to you and your sponsor so can schedule and attend your Degree Ceremony. Once you have attended your degree and paid your yearly membership dues, you will be issued your membership card at the next month’s business meeting and officially welcomed into our family of brother Knights!
